PACEdays 2025 marked a milestone for us, with a record number of attendees and unprecedented engagement. We welcomed representatives from over 80 organizations—including Operators, OEMs, and Academic Institutions—highlighting the growing impact and relevance of our community. We celebrated 30 years of PACE, and this milestone not only honoured our history but also fueled our ambition to shape the future of aviation. With three decades of expertise we reaffirmed our commitment to advancing technology, enhancing user experiences, and leading the industry toward a smarter future. The conference took place at the Maritim ProArte Hotel in Berlin on May 13 and 14.
Join us on a journey through three decades of innovation, passion, and people. In this special anniversary video, the spotlight is on those who know the story best—the employees of PACE. Team members from across the company share what it's meant to be part of the journey: the challenges, the milestones, and the personal growth they've experienced along the way. Each voice reflects the evolution of PACE. Discover how the company has transformed over the years, how it continues to adapt and lead, and what the next chapter will hold.
Highlights this year included deep dives into:
We also gave an exclusive look at the roadmaps of our products, outlining what’s next for our technology and solutions.
PACE Future Innovators Awards arrived at the third edition. On May 14 we announced the victorious team. This year's competition challenged future engineers to design an HMI for large-screen cockpits that reduces pilot workload and enables solo operations. The students from EUROAVIA, gained exclusive access to VAPS Product Family, PACE's HMI software tools for safety-critical and mission-critical display applications.
We announced the new PACE stream, HMI & Embedded Graphics featuring the VAPS Product Family packed with partners, presentations and training sessions. New this year wa the de-icing challenge in collaboration with the WEAVR team. In previous years, we held contests related to piloting skills. This year we have something different. It is a task that frequent flyers know well. Imagine you are sitting in an aircraft, ready for takeoff. It is early morning, and the temperature is low. There is ice on the wings, so a de-icing procedure is necessary. Our guests operated the de-icer.
Last but not least we showcased a life-sized A320 training simulator together with ProSim, our sister company that hosted InstructIQ, our new solution that provides data-driven pilot competency analytics using AI. Furthermore, we presented insights about our sustainable aviation R&D projects, describing how PACE contributes to sustainability through aerospace research.
PACEdays 2025 featured a unique lineup of speakers from major aviation and aerospace organizations.
The agenda was packed with insights from top industry leaders. We were proud to host keynote speakers from Airbus, Lufthansa, Embraer, Amazon Web Services, Lufthansa City Line and Milan Bergamo Airport, along with a special presentation by the Principal Managing Director of BDLI, Marie-Christine von Hahn offering a strategic outlook on aerospace innovation.
This year, there was a record number of attendees, with participants from more than 80 major aviation and aerospace organizations, including representatives from aircraft OEMs, suppliers, airlines, consultancies and educational institutions. If you weren't able to join this year's event, we hope to see you at the next!
The Baret Berlin - Humboldt Forum Terrasse
The networking dinner took place on May 13, at the Baret offering the perfect opportunity to connect and exchange ideas.
The dinner was memorable as we came together to commemorate 30 years of PACE and we dined with a 360-degree view over Berlin, on the roof of the Humboldt Forum, definitely a spectacular view.
